3 – 7 mile rides

These mainly traffic free rides will go at an easy pace and are suitable for non-regular cyclists

Saturday 17th October

12 – 1:30 pm

Inclusive Ride – Sefton Park (3 miles)

Try out a Trike, Side by Side or regular 2-wheeled cycle on traffic free paths in Sefton Park.

Tuesday 20th October

3 – 4:30 pm

Inclusive Ride – Sefton Park (3 miles)

Try out a Trike, Side by Side or regular 2-wheeled cycle on traffic free paths in Sefton Park.

Saturday 31st October

9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Two Parks & Two Cathedrals (7 miles)

Cycle through Sefton & Prince’s parks to the Metropolitan and Anglican cathedrals with a stop at Ryde cafe.

20 – 25 miles ride

Explore Liverpool & beyond on a mix of traffic free paths, quiet roads and some busier roads.  These rides are at a more leisurely pace than our other longer rides.

Sunday 11th October

9:15 am – 2:30 pm

Pickerings Pasture (23 miles)

Cycle along the Loop Line to Pickerings Pasture nature reserve where we’ll stop at Esposito’s cafe.  Return via Hale, Speke & Garston.

30+ miles rides

Explore Liverpool & beyond on a mix of traffic free paths, quiet roads and some busier roads.  These rides are at a faster pace than our other rides.

Saturday 10th October

10:15 am – 4:30 pm

Ormskirk to Twin Lakes (34 miles)

Meet at Ormskirk station then cycle along South Lancashire’s country lanes with a stop at Twin Lakes Velo Cafe at Croston.  Finish at Maghull station.

Saturday 24th October

9:45 am – 4 pm

Seacombe to Bebington (35 miles)

Meet at the Pier Head to catch the 10 am ferry to Seacombe then cycle around the Wirral on quiet roads and cycle paths, with a stop at the Blue Bicycle cafe in Neston.  Return via train from Bebington.

Florrie Rides

Gentler pace rides starting from the Florrie Building in Mill Street (11 – 12 miles)

Monday 12th October

9:45 am – 1 pm

Bramley Moore Dock (11 miles)

From the Florrie we head to the Pier Head and using cycle paths ride towards Bramley Moore Dock.  We will stop for hot drinks at Hill Dickinson Stadium returning via the waterfront & promenade.

Monday 26th October

9:45 am – 1 pm

Court Hey Park (12 miles)

From the Florrie we head towards Greenbank Park via Princes & Sefton parks then through the Mystery and quiet roads to the Loop Line.  Cafe stop at Esposito’s in Court Hey park and then return mostly via the same route.
